stock market tip for early-game players: buy stocks before buying a bunch of CpS-increasing stuff, then sell them to get a significant amount of cookie profit

To explain the screenshot (and to point out stuff that may not be noticed in it):
Stock prices are based on your highest raw CpS. Golden/Wrath Cookie effects will not change their price, selling buildings will not change their price (or how many of the stock tied to the building you can buy). Increasing your base CpS, whether by buying upgrades or by buying buildings, will increase their price (and how many you can buy if increasing your building count). This means you can increase how much they sell for, even if the specific dollar amount isn't much changed, by increasing your CpS.
Look at the dollar amount for the nuts. The top one is worth $6,875 for all of them combined, and $57.56 apiece. Now look at the bottom one. $6,577 total, $59.80 each. Their value increased by a little more than 3%.
Now look at the cookie values. They go from 78.706 quadrillion to 737.918 quadrillion. The amount of cookies they sell for is increased by a tiny bit more than 9.375 times as much. Which is much more than a 3% increase.
While the screenshots don't show quite the full picture, I only screenshotted the value of the stocks, not the entire screen (which would showcase my cookies and how much I spent increasing my CpS, and my actual CpS for each, and the fact that I bought a bunch of upgrades and buildings to achieve the CpS increase), it still shows enough - the fact that I got a +50 stocks capacity (implying I at least bought some buildings), and the fact that the stocks directly state how many CpS they're worth. Also, because of the overhead cost, I actually lost compared to my CpS despite the slight value increase, because of the overhead cost, yet how much I spent was only marginally more than 10% of what I ended up getting back.

Pro tip: Winter Night Market seeds.
Main Post:
Unless you completed the community center in the first year you can take advantage the second year.
The night market in Winter 15-17 sells seeds for the same price as Pierre.
First day is spring. Second day summer and last day fall.
This is a great opportunity to save time on year 2 day 1 of spring. You buy seeds here if you didn't have enough money for seeds year 1.
Great way to plan out what you want to do.
Side pro tip: Also I've noticed a lot of people didn't know you can grow in winter. Winter seeds grow in winter.
It's a great way to set up your crop layout and keep it till spring.
Top Comment: Do they sell strawberries on winter 15?
Daily Market PvP Tip Day 1
Main Post:
I guess this is something to do while the hamster dies.
What is Market PvP? Let's break this down into the two words. Market - Essentially what it sounds like, buying and selling things for a loss or profit. PvP- Crushing another person's soul and stomping on their head, for fun. The intention is making another person feel miserable while making yourself feel good. So Market PvP is the same thing. Buying and selling for profit with intentions of fucking with other people. To crush their soul while you make money and monopolize a market.
PvP Tip of the Day, to ruin someone's day - Look for an item that you preferably have a few of, or can purchase a few of. People tend to put large stacks of items up, and with the volatility of the current market are much more willing to offload as fast as possible.
Split stacks, don't put up huge stacks, ever. You pay a huge fee to put them up, and someone will assuredly as the servers crash, undercut you. Most people will tend to not pay attention to stack size, but will pay attention to price.
Step 1 - Put stack of 20 XXXX Logs on market undercutting by 1.
Step 2 - If there is a response by the person with the large stack that you undercut, repeat a couple more times. They are losing large amounts of silver by cancelling the sale and reposting.
Step 3 - After a couple of back and forth, lower it by 10-20%, they will generally follow suit and undercut you by 1.
Step 4 - Buy said items for 20% under market value.
Step 5 - Repost in small amounts, baby sit this item for a couple of hours selling it while you browse for the next target.
Step 6 - Make bank
This does require a little knowledge of markets, knowing when to stop. You will lose some, but doing this, making 10-20% each time, by using large volume you will make millions of silver. You can even use this tactic to get cheap mats for something you just want for yourself.
Another example, is items that can be refined into something else. Knowing what the refined item can sell for and forcing someone else to lower the price well below the refined item. Earlier today I was able to force someone selling 50 goats to lower the price of the goats to 1/2 of current raw meat value. Made bank. Lot's and lot's of bank on that one.
Enjoy, from your friendly EVE Market PvP'er

Question for WF employees: What’s a fair tip for pickup service?
Main Post:
I only order about $50 in groceries at a time, so there’s not a lot of shopping. The WF employee shops, then puts the groceries in my opened trunk in the designated space. How much is a fair tip?
Top Comment: For the PrimeNow Pickup service at a Whole Foods you are describing, most Pickup customers do not tip at all. If you give any tip for the Pickup you are describing, you would be unique among customers. The person bringing the order out to your car is officially not suppose to accept a tip, but they would be happy with whatever you slipped them. If you get that order delivered using Amazon Flex from a Whole Foods store, the system automatically sets the tip to start at $5 for small orders and you can adjust up from there. For a Flex driver $1 per WF bag or package is a good deal, 10 bags $10, etc. You can adjust the tip online after the order has been delivered. Some of the other answers you got here do not understand the question.
